What You Will Do
As a Business Development Representative at PraxisPro, you are the tip of the spear. Your job is to open doors relentlessly and creatively so our founder-led sales team can do what they do best. You will own top-of-funnel pipeline generation through high-volume, high-quality outreach to key stakeholders across pharma, biotech, and life sciences organizations.
This is not a passive role. You will be expected to dial, email, and engage prospects on LinkedIn every single day. You know how to break through the noise, earn a conversation, and set demos that actually move forward. You thrive on the hunt and take pride in building pipeline from nothing.
Key Responsibilities
Own top-of-funnel pipeline generation — execute high-volume outbound prospecting through cold calls, cold emails, LinkedIn outreach, and other creative channels to book qualified demos for the Commercial team
Research and identify target accounts — map organizational structures within pharma and biotech companies to identify the right personas across L&D, Commercial Excellence, Sales, and Marketing
Qualify prospects — engage in meaningful discovery conversations to assess fit before handing off to the Commercial team, ensuring pipeline quality and their time is protected
Hit and exceed weekly activity and pipeline targets — calls made, emails sent, and demos booked are your scoreboard; you know your numbers and own them
Maintain a clean CRM — log all activity accurately and on time in HubSpot; pipeline hygiene is non-negotiable
Partner with the Commercial team — collaborate closely with our founder-led sales leadership on account strategy, messaging, and follow-up to maximize conversion from demo to qualified opportunity
Continuously iterate on outreach — test messaging, refine sequences, and share what's working with the team to improve collective performance
What You Bring
Required Experience
1–3 years of outbound sales development, ideally in SaaS, life sciences, or a related industry
Proven track record of consistently hitting or exceeding demo and pipeline targets
Unafraid to pick up the phone: you believe in the power of the cold call and have the numbers to back it up
Exceptional written communication skills; you can craft a cold email that actually gets a reply
Familiarity with a modern sales stack, including HubSpot (or comparable CRM), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and AI-powered dialers
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a high volume of outreach without letting things slip
A competitive, coachable mindset: you want to win, and you want to get better every week
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to life sciences, pharma, or biotech, either through prior sales experience or personal background
Experience selling into highly regulated industries
Experience with cutting-edge AI SaaS products
Location in NYC, but open to remote is able to dial across US time zones
