What You’ll Do

• Own the full stack – design, build, and scale new features across our Node.js / React / Next.js platform.

• Architect for growth – leverage AWS (EC2, ECS, RDS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, S3) and modern IaC (CDK) to deliver highly available, secure services.

• Automate everything – craft CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and champion engineering best practices (test automation, observability, code health).

• Collaborate cross-functionally – partner with product, design, and data science to translate vision into working software.

• Lead & mentor – set technical direction, coach teammates, and cultivate an inclusive engineering culture where everyone can thrive.

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years developing production web applications, with significant experience in Node.js, React, and Next.js.

• Deep fluency in AWS core services noted above; you know when to reach for Lambda vs. ECS, RDS vs. DynamoDB, and how to wire them together with API Gateway and queues.

• Proven track record shipping at pre-seed / Seed / Series A startups (or similarly lean teams) where ownership and self-direction are essential.

• Strong grasp of modern DevOps: infrastructure as code (CDK or Terraform), container orchestration, automated testing, and CI/CD.

• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to mentoring, knowledge-sharing, and inclusive collaboration.

• Must be located in the United States; CST time zone (or willing to align) is strongly preferred.
